Two men have been arrested following an alleged break-in and assault on the North Coast earlier this week.
Just before 5pm on Monday, three armed men confronted a 41-year-old man at the front door of his The Channon home.
The men allegedly assaulted the resident and fled the Nimbin Road address.
On Tuesday police arrested two men aged 49 and 19-years-old.
Both were charged with aggravated enter dwelling with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The 49-year-old was refused bail and will front Lismore Local Court on Wednesday.
The 19-year-old was granted conditional bail, to also appear at Lismore Local Court on November 26.
Investigations are continuing.
