YOUNG BOY INJURED IN MOTORCROSS FALL AT LAKE MACQUARIE

A 12-year-old boy has been flown to Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, after falling from a motorbike at Lake Macquarie.

The incident happened at the Awaba Motorcross Track earlier today, with the Westpac Rescue Helicopter tasked to the scene.

The boy was treated by the helicopters medical team for suspected spinal injuries.

He was reported to be in a stable condition.
