The Central Coast community is mourning the death of local rugby league hero, Morry Breen.
Mr Breen passed away this morning at age 82, after a battle with leukemia.
He was a key player in the establishment of Wyong Leagues Club and the oval – home to the Wyong Roos – was later named in his honour.
Just this year, Mr Breen was awarded an Order of Australia medal for his service to rugby league.
The father-of-three had been a Central Coast resident for 55 years.
