PEDESTRIAN HIT AT EAST GOSFORD

An elderly woman has been airlifted to hospital with head and pelvic injuries, after being struck by a car on the Central Coast.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Victoria and Adelaide Streets in East Gosford just before 2:30 this afternoon.

The 80-year-old was flown by Careflight to Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
