APPEAL DATE SET FOR FORMER ADELAIDE ARCHBISHOP
Former Adelaide Archbishop, Philip Wilson, will have his appeal over his conviction for concealing child sex abuse, heard in October.
Today lawyers for the 67-year-old fronted Newcastle District Court, where two days were set aside for the hearing.
In May, Wilson became the highest-ranking Catholic in the world to be found guilty of concealing sex abuse, following a landmark hearing.
He’s currently serving a minimum six months home detention.
