FINKS BIKIE ARRESTED ON MID NORTH COAST

A high-ranking member of the Finks outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) has been charged, following a search warrant on the Mid North Coast yesterday.

Strike Force Addax was established in January to target OMCG activity on the Mid North Coast.

Around 11.30am yesterday, investigators, with the assistance of Raptor North, executed a search at a Thrumster home.

During the search, police located and seized methylamphetamine, cash, a push dagger, and a Rolex watch, suspected to be stolen or otherwise unlawfully obtained.

All items were secured for forensic analysis.

A 39-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were both arrested and taken to Port Macquarie Police Station.

The man was charged with a string of offences, including reckless greivous bodily harm, attempted kidnap and supply prohibited drug – commercial quantity.

The woman was charged with knowingly take part in the supply of a prohibited drug and possess prohibited drug x (2).

Both were refused bail to appear at Port Macquarie Local Court today.
