MOTORCYCLIST DIES NEAR GUNNEDAH

A motorcyclist has died following a single-vehicle crash, about 8km south of Gunnedah today.

Shortly before 12.30pm, emergency services were called to the Kamilaroi Highway, near Pullaming Road, Curlewis, following reports a motorcyclist had crashed into a culvert.

The man died at the scene, his age is not yet known.

Police are investigating the crash, the Kamilaroi Highway remains closed in both directions with diversions in place.
