PEACEFUL PROTEST AGAINST CALGA SANDMINE

Central Coast conservationists have met with state Planning Minister Tony Kelly to express their concerns over a proposed sand mine at Calga.

Protestors fear the mine would force a native wildlife sanctuary to close.

Greedy Corporations rearing their ugly political agenda on resources which is supported by State government ineptness to deliver what local communities needs are only their selfish captalitisic and not the cultural heritage for the future of uor community the children . These multi-national should hang their heads in shame and so should the share-holders who should know better. Shame on the lot of you.

The destructive Rocla sand mine expansion must be stopped and the reasons are many:- To save unique flora and fauna, to protect the precious aquifer, to conserve significant Aboriginal engravings, to ensure the future of Walkabout Sanctuary and to prevent the threat of silicosis exposure to the community. Please everyone get behind the campaign to stop our government approving this grotesque proposal.
