COUNTRY NSW WELL REPRESENTED IN JAPAN AT RUGBY FESTIVAL

Country New South Wales will be well represented in Japan over the weekend, with Glen Innes’ Alex Newsome, Tamworth’s Paddy Ryan and Quirindi’s Sam Carter all suiting-up for their respective Super Rugby teams.

With the season proper on a three week hiatus, Super Rugby franchises will feature at the Minato Rugby Festival in Tokyo, in a bid to promote the game in Asia.

Newsome and Ryan will line-up for the New South Wales Waratahs against the NEC Green Rockets.

Meanwhile, Carter and the ACT Brumbies will take on Japanese Top League champions, Suntory.
