MAN SPENDS MORE THAN 12 HOURS PINNED UNDER TRACTOR

A 62-year-old man is in a stable condition, after his foot was trapped under a tractor for more than 12-hours.

The incident happened at Glenbawn, near Scone in the Hunter Valley.

Around 9am yesterday, a 7-tonne machine inadvertently rolled onto his foot.

His calls for help weren’t heard until around 10 o’clock last night, with emergency crews managing to move the tractor.

He was flown to Tamworth Rural Referal Hospital by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
