A man has been tasered by police, after allegedly trying to break into a car at Newcastle.
Officers were called to the intersection of Parry and Steel Street at Newcastle West, at around 10 o’clock this morning, where they spoke with a 31-year-old man.
It’s alleged the man then became aggressive towards officers, forcing them to use a taser to arrest him.
He was charged with multiple offences including assaulting police and was refused bail to face court tomorrow.
