WESTON INTO NBN STATE LEAGUE FINALS AT EAGLES EXPENSE

NBN STATE LEAGUE
Final Round

WESTON 3
HAMILTON 0

BROADMEADOW 3
EDGEWORTH 1

SOUTH CARDIFF 3
VALENTINE PHOENIX 0

Weston has claimed the last spot in the NBN State League finals thanks to a 3-nil win over Hamilton.
At Edgeworth, witnesses say a fight involving players and rival supporters broke out after the Magic put an end to the Eagles season.
Edgeworth should’ve gone in front several times in the first half, but the target was proving tough to hit.
At the other end, Broadmeadow was creating its own chances, but keeper Ben Smith was up to the task.
Right on the stroke of half time, Peter Haynes showed his class, dancing through defenders to put the Magic in front.
The semi finals will see Broadmeadow taking on Weston, while Lake Macquarie will face the Gunners.
