A shot has been fired at a police car during a pursuit at Lake Macquarie.
A police vehicle attached to a specialist unit started pursuing a Holden Commodore at Jewells around 3.30 on Thursday morning.
A shot was fired at the police car and the pursuit was then terminated.
The police officer wasn’t injured.
