Huge news for netball fans in the Hunter, with the Diamonds set to take on England at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre on September 19.
The Australian team last played at the venue in 2012 against South Africa.
Local supporters will be hoping home-grown defender Sam Poolman will be in the mix for selection for the Quad Series, following the completion of her season with the Giants in Super Netball.
Tickets for the game go on sale in early June.
