Every homeowner’s worst nightmare has put justice on hold in Bellingen.
The historic court house has been temporarily closed down, with all of next week’s cases now transferred to Coffs Harbour following the discovery of white ant damage.
Structural engineers and heritage experts are assessing the damage to walls in the registry, records room and public waiting areas at the Magistrate’s Chambers.
Once their assessment is complete, a decision will be made about remediation.
