NBN NEWS ARCHIVE: 30 YEARS ON – THE NEWCASTLE KNIGHTS FIRST HOME GAME

As the Newcastle Knights prepare to launch their 2018 season, we take a look back 30 years into the NBN News Archive, to their first game as part of the ARL competition.

March 9 1988 saw 26,000 fans pack Newcastle’s International Sports Centre, as the home side took on a star-studded Parramatta Eels.
