PORT UNITED DEFEAT WALLAMBA FC IN THE SECOND ROUND OF THE FFA CUP

Port United are into the third round of the FFA Cup after defeating Southern League champions Wallamba FC 6-nil yesterday afternoon in Port Macquarie.

Last year’s runners-up, United, started slow, heading into the break with a one-nil advantage.

But the outfit outclassed their southern opponents in the second half.

Elliot Break, Jake Pugh, Matt Bale and Matt Moore all scored goals, with recruit Harry Gordon grabbing two on his debut for the club.
