A 22-year-old man has been charged after allegedly breaking into a home and deliberately lighting fires in the Hunter.
Police will allege a man broke into a home on Paxton Street, Denman on Friday January 12, before deliberately setting fire and destroying the home the following day.
It’s also alleged the man deliberately lit two grass fires in surrounding streets later that week.
The 22-year-old was arrested overnight and charged with a string of offences.
He was refused bail to appear at Scone Local Court today.
