STRIKE FORCE CLAYMORE CONTINUE TO FIGHT CRIME IN MOREE

Strike Force Claymore is continuing to take charge on the streets of Moree.

Four weeks into the operation, police have seen 30 charges, including some for serious violence, drug and drink driving offences.

More than 750 vehicles have been stopped for testing, while 26 incidents of children at risk have been reported.

Two alleged arsonists have also been dealt with under the Young Offenders Act.

The Strike Force is expected to remain in Moree until crime rates decrease.
