SCHOOL IN STALEMATE OVER CROWN LAND
Tuggerah Public School is still waiting to hear whether it can expand into vacant crown land, at the back of the school grounds.
It’s understood the approval process may have stalled due to an Aboriginal land claim to the site.
The school’s P&C committee says it has reached out to the New South Wales Minister for Education, Rob Stokes.
In the meantime, members of the P&C have started a petition, with more than 500 signatures.
