GUNNEDAH WATER FLUORIDATION VOTE

The ongoing debate on whether of not to add fluoride to Gunnedah’s water is expected to be voted on at a Council meeting tomorrow night.

A decision is expected early next year, with Mayor Jamie Chaffey saying those both for and against have been very vocal.

“There’s a lot of passion on both sides of the debate and that’s the healthy thing about our community I guess. We live in a democratic society and everybody has the opportunity and we certainly have gone out of our way to engage with as many of the residents of Gunnedah as we possibly can,” Jamie Chaffey, Mayor Gunnedah Shire Council.

Gunnedah is part of just 7 per cent of New South Wales that is without fluoride in its town’s water supply.

Anyone who thinks that delivering any medication by dumping it into public water supplies is scientific is scientifically illiterate. As for fluoride, it is highly toxic and a cumulative poison, like lead, arsenic, and mercury. I have asked many forced-fluoridation fanatics to tell me how much accumulated fluoride in the body they think is safe. So far not a single one of them has been able to answer the question. It is unlikely to just be a coincidence that the US, Australia, and Ireland, which have had high rates of forced-fluoridation for decades, also have high rates of joint problems, and poor health outcomes in general.
