LAKE MACQUARIE WATER QUALITY STUDY

Meanwhile, fish and crustaceans will be tested for PFAS contaminants at Lake Macquarie, as part of a water quality study.

Testing will be conducted by the EPA over the next few weeks throughout the lake, from Cockle Bay to Vales Point.

Lake Macquarie Council says there’s no evidence to suggest it’s not safe to eat fish or crustaceans caught in the lake.
