23YO HOSPITALISED WITH STAB WOUNDS

A 23-year-old man has been taken to John Hunter Hospital with a collapsed lung this morning, after he was stabbed in the Hunter Region.

Emergency services were called to Segenhoe Street in Woodberry before 8am, where they found a man with stab wounds to his chest and arm.

The man was taken to John Hunter Hospital, however his injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Police have been told the man was stabbed by another man in a domestic-related incident, and police are attempting to locate him.

  1. I grew up in this street and it used to be okay. Now its just a crap-hole. Some parts of Woodberry are still good but Segenhoe street needs to have all of the good people moved out of there and the rest of it needs to be blocked off so the idiots cant get out. Leave them were they lie and let them role around in their own fifth. Half of the people of this street are good decent people. They don’t deserve to live among this crap.

And just to add, anyone who drives down Segenhoe Street better slow down to 20km p/h because the bottom end of the street is filled with terribly parked cars, rubbish, children playing in the middle of the road, and kids on mini bikes without shoes or helmet. Not to mention the stray animals that look sick and just lay in the gutter.
