LENNOX HEAD LOCAL, OWEN WRIGHT WINS FIJI PRO
Lennox Head local, Owen Wright has won the Fiji Pro over fellow Australian Julian Wilson.
In six-foot waves at Cloudbreak, Wright scored two perfect 10s from the judges on Tuesday.
On Monday in round five, the goofy-footer became the fifth surfer to score a perfect 20.
His final score means he’s the first surfer to complete two perfect 20s at the same event.
He joins Kelly Slater and Joel Parkinson in recording the feat twice.
