A nasty accident along one of Newcastle’s biggest traffic bottlenecks has resulted in a car flipping onto its roof.
Two vehicles were travelling in opposite directions along the Tourle Street bridge at Kooragang Island before they collided.
Two people in the overturned car were initially trapped, but no-one was seriously injured.
The incident caused major traffic delays.
