KASPER THE HORSE RESCUED FROM PORT STEPHENS SEPTIC TANK

A crane has been used to rescue a horse that became trapped in a septic tank at Port Stephens yesterday.

At around 5.30pm, the Port Stephens SES Large Animal Rescue Team was called to a property in Woodberry, where the horse had become stuck.

The horse, named Kasper, was sedated before it was lifted onto dry ground.

The SES reports that Kasper is back on his feet following the ordeal.
