Blackhead Beach on the Lower North Coast remains closed, following a shark attack on Friday, which left a 65-year-old man in hospital.
After consulting with local police, the local Surf Life Saving Club recommended that the beach closure remain in place throughout the day.
A decision on whether to reopen the beach will be made tomorrow morning.
