In Perisher the snow started falling from late yesterday afternoon as expected and continued throughout the night, leaving around 20cms of fresh snow across the resort. The winds remained moderate as well meaning there was some amazing wind-blown powder to be had.
Thanks to the colder temperatures the snow making team were able to fire up over 100 guns helping out mother nature, and giving the cover just that little bit extra.
45 lifts are in operation across all 4 interlinking resort areas with over 75 runs being groomed to perfection overnight as well.
Now we are expecting a mostly sunny day tomorrow before another cold front hits on Saturday potentially bringing snow showers right the way through next week.
