SOCIAL FUTURES RECEIVES WHITE RIBBON ACCREDITATION

Lismore not-for-profit organisation, Social Futures, has become the Northern Rivers’ first white ribbon workplace.

After an exhaustive process, the accreditation is only granted to employers who commit to reducing violence against women in the community.

“This isn’t just about ticking a box. This is about saying, as an organisation we are going to do absolutely everything we can to address violence against women.”

“Being part of the first 100, Social Futures are right at the cutting edge of workplaces work in preventing violence against women.”

Social Futures now trains all staff to recognise, and where possible, prevent violence against women.
