EVERINGHAM MAKING A SPLASH AT AUS TITLES

Port Macquarie swimmer Mekayla Everingham has missed out on qualifying for the World Titles in the 100 metre breaststroke.

The 19-year-old placed 12th in her preliminary heat at the Australian Championships this morning.

It followed an impressive 8th place finish in last night’s 50 metre final.

Everingham will have one last shot at qualifying in the 200 metre breaststroke on Wednesday.
