There’s finally relief for Hunter bank customers, with an unprecedented outage close to being resolved.
The technical issues, which have been affecting most financial institutions locally, began on Monday afternoon after a third party data provider experienced technical issues.
“Its important to understand that this is an event that actually impacts the entire payment and financial services industry which has certainly extended the time frame to resolution,” says Greater Bank CEO Scott Morgan.
Any customers still waiting for payments to go through are advised to contact their bank.
