The Rural Fire Service is advising mid north coast residents to delay hazard reduction burns.
Fire fighters have attended 25 incidents in the past week, where dry, windy conditions have caused back burns to escape.
More windy weather is forecast over the coming days and the RFS says property owners should wait until early next week if possible.
