A 35-year-old man will face Newcastle Court today, accused of assaulting a woman in Elermore Vale and stealing her car.
The woman was leaving a house on Croudace Road at about 3.30am on January 2, when she was approached by a man.
It’s alleged the man threatened her and hit her across the face with a small metal object, before fleeing the scene.
The accused was arrested a short time later and charged with aggravated robbery.
