KENNEDY, MELLING, KNOCKED OUT IN ROUND 4

Stu Kennedy and Adam Melling’s future on surfing’s championship tour remains uncertain, after both bowed out of the Hawaiian Pro QS event in round three.

Kennedy posted the lowest score of his heat, an 8.97 – less than half that of eventual winner Griffin Colapinto.

Melling, meanwhile, went down to Brazillian Jason Andre by almost 6 points.

Elsewhere, Kennedy and locals Soli Bailey and Kyuss King have made the final of the ‘Oakley’ battle clips competition.
