FEARNLEY DETERMINED TO HAVE ANOTHER CRACK IN NEW YORK

With his marathon season done and dusted for 2016, Kurt Fearnley is enjoying a short break.
The 35-year-old has just returned home from finishing second in New York.
It was the fifth straight time he was narrowly beaten by Switzerland’s Marcel Hug in a major race.
“This year has been both a challenge because of the nature of how the results have finished … I’ve never finished a race like I did in New York and had the desire to give it another good crack.”
He’ll return to training next week to prepare for the Oz Day 10k.
For now he’s turning his attention to promoting Movember.
“Whether it’s your dad or your brother or cousins or mates, check in, encourage them to talk … it’s a conversation worth having.”
