FEMALE PASSENGER AIRLIFTED AFTER HUNTER VALLEY CRASH
A woman in her 40’s was airlifted to hospital after a head-on collision between two vehicles in the Hunter Valley yesterday.
Around 9:30am yesterday, emergency services responded to reports of a crash on the New England Highway at Wingen.
On arrival, they found a Holden Commodore and a Mazda sedan had crashed head on.
The 43-year-old female passenger of the Commodore was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition.
Three others involved in the crash – two males and a female – were all taken to hospital via ambulance in a serious condition.
Police are urging any witnesses of the crash to contact them.
