A spike in thefts from parked cars over the last few months has prompted police to urge the public to be extra vigilant on the Central Coast.
Officers have arrested three people as part of their investigations so far.
– A 27-year-old man from San Remo and a 32-year-old man from The Entrance were arrested on Wednesday 28 September in relation to property offences.
– A 30-year-old Lakehaven man was arrested and charged with six offences including stealing from motor vehicles, drug and warrant offences on Thursday 6 October 2016. He will appear at court on Friday 13 January 2017.
Police remind people to ensure their vehicles are locked, and to avoid leaving any unnecessary valuable items in the vehicles, such as wallets or mobile phones.
