Tamworth’s Imperial Hotel has been added to the State Government’s latest violent venues list for 2013.
Figures show the club saw 14 violent incidents in 2013, placing them on Level Two.
As part of its licensing, the venue will be required to cease alcohol service 30 minutes before closing, provide no glass after midnight and have 10 minute alcohol time outs every hour from 12am.
The Imperial’s addition to the list comes just twelve months after they were removed from the same register.
Minister for Hospitality George Souris also says he will introduce legislation to allow for restrictions to apply before midnight if deemed necessary.
