Police are seeking a witness to last month’s alleged chainsaw attack in Port Macquarie.
A 30-year-old man is accused of bursting into his ex-partner’s Bangoran Place home on August 16, and injuring the woman and her mother with a chainsaw.
Police now say, to help with their investigation, they want to speak to a man who risked his own life, by entering the home and trying to intervene.
