Central Coast surfer Adrian Buchan has progressed straight to round three of the Billabong Pro in Tahiti, after taking out his round one heat today.
The 2013 Teahupo’o champion spent 50 minutes in the water, eventually earning a two-wave score of 12.
A decent effort for what were challenging conditions.
Meanwhile, Copacabana’s Matt Wilkinson was also in the water today and finished second in his heat.
He’ll surf again in round two.
