Lismore Council remains at loggerheads over the future of the town’s run-down lake pool.
A report into its future, to be tabled at next Tuesday’s council meeting, will recommend it remains closed.
Prepared by council staff, the report found restoring and re-opening the pool isn’t financially viable.
Despite this, Councillor Greg Bennett has indicated he will move a motion calling for the pool’s restoration to proceed.
