TWO TEAMS FROM MCPD CROWNED GLOBAL CHAMPIONS

A small group of athletes from a gym at Warabrook has returned from the first ever Global Dance and Cheer Games in Hawaii with some incredible results.
Two of the three teams from MCPD were named Global Champions.
“We have had national titles here in Australia, but now we’re looking at heading overseas a bit more, it challenges the kids a little bit more.”
The kids were happy to show off the spoils of victory, but there’s also serious training to be done.
Their next big event is less than four weeks away.
“Not only from January until now have they been training for All Star teams, but they were trying to get ready for America. Now they’re trying to get ready for a comp called Battle, which is a two day event.”
