Lake Macquarie wakeboarder Tony Iacconi has scored his first win on America’s Pro Tour.
The 19-year-old produced a flawless run during the second round in North Carolina.
“Super clean backside 720 … the run of his career right now.”
Having placed third at the opening event in Texas, Iacconi now leads the series overall.
“I went out there with a goal and did all my tricks perfectly. That gave me a bit better score.”
His next event will be in Nevada on July 1.
