WOMEN URGED TO LOOK AFTER THEIR HEARTS
A national heart foundation campaign has been launched at Tamworth Hospital today, to help educate women on the risks of cardiovascular disease.
The Tamworth local government area has one of the highest death rates from heart disease in New South Wales.
Females are especially at risk, with those suffering not necessarily experiencing sharp chest pains.
“Women’s symptoms can sometimes just be tiredness. They can just be a twinge in the back, and/or nausea.”
