A 12-year-old boy has suffered a suspected neck injury, after being tackled during an inter-school rugby league game at Hawks Nest.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter says he was tackled by an opposition player while playing at Myall Park.
The extent of his injury is unknown. He was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital.
