Nobbys at Newcastle has now recorded the hottest Autumn in 50 years near by Williamtown 64 years. It is in stark contrast in comparison to this time last year when by this point Tocal in the Hunter Valley had hit 1200mm of rain, this year only 150mm so far.

Today high level cloud increased across most of the region helping to drop temperatures. Tomorrow the cloud will contract north clearing for the Hunter, MNC and NW. The fine, dry above average temperature weather will continue for the rest of the week, including the weekend.
