The first night of May was the hottest on record for about 20 different towns and cities across QLD, some of those records date back to the 1800s. Melbourne just experience its hottest night on record this last in the season. This is on the back of a very hot, dry April. All of the capital cities except Perth experienced temperatures well above their average. This is all adding to the previous months of 2016.
Great to have some rain over the weekend, tonight there is another pulse surging in across the NW delivering beautiful follow up rain. This will clear during tomorrow for a mostly fine week.
