An elderly priest has pleaded guilty to a string of sex offences against a boy in the 1980s.
78-year-old Vincent Gerard Ryan entered guilty pleas to sexual assault, attempting homosexual intercourse with a 15-year-old, gross indecency and three counts of indecent assault in a Sydney court this morning.
Ryan will remain on bail until he’s sentenced in August.
He’s previously spent 14 years behind bars for sexually abusing 35 boys in the Cessnock area over a 20-year period.
