The Anzac Day long weekend road toll has risen to eight, following a fatal crash at Port Stephens last night.
A 53-year-old man was driving at Pindima, south of Tea Gardens, when his car went off Pindima Road and down an embankment at about 8pm.
The local man died at the scene.
