A 48 year old man accused of stabbing another man multiple times at Byron Bay, has been denied bail.
Anthony Norris was arrested around lunchtime yesterday, minutes after he allegedly attacked the man in the Butler Street reserve.
He was later charged with wound with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and appeared in Tweed Heads Local Court this morning.
The matter was adjourned, with Norris to face Lismore Local Court in June.
The alleged victim, meanwhile, is recovering in the Gold Coast University Hospital where he’s now in a stable condition.
